The Stow Brothers E4 Agent Valuation of this property is £450,000

Description:

A wonderfully characterful, two bedroom 1930s end of terrace with a whole host of vintage features, unique flourishes and developmental potential. You have an immaculately arranged rear garden backing onto playing fields and there's a whole host of other open green natural spaces within easy reach.

You're sat on a quiet, residential street here, but nonetheless just five minutes from the main thoroughfare of Chingford Mount Road and just a half mile on foot from the social hub of Chingford Mount itself.

If you lived here...

You'll immediately be struck by the gorgeous, artfully distressed vintage timber flooring in your hallway, flowing seamlessly on into your open plan lounge, kitchen and diner. The kitchen is subtly segmented by a timber-topped breakfast bar, fronted with classic industrial stainless steel for a professional finish and completed by a set of cream fitted cabinets.

Your dining room and lounge offer a wealth of sociable space between them, twenty three foot long, dual aspect and full of natural light. Sliding patio doors open up to your brilliantly bright conservatory, ideal for laundry and with its own suite of fitted cabinets, it's also the perfect space to enjoy the garden all year round. And quite a garden it is too, an artful blend of patio, decking and thriving curvaceous beds. With all manner of spots for dining al fresco it's ideal for hosting.

Upstairs and your family bathroom's handsomely decked out in marbled sandstone effect glossy tiles, surrounding the teardrop shaped tub and complete with a heated chrome tower rail. Your master bedroom to the front is a substantial double of 150 square feet with that classic bay window, recessed spotlights overhead and plenty of mirrored floor to ceiling storage adding to the sense of space. Bedroom two's another double with still more fitted storage. Finally, with the loft space so far untouched, you have scope to develop the property still further (subject to the usual permissions).

What else?

- There are seven local schools rated 'Good' or 'Outstanding' by Ofsted less than a mile from your new home, with Chase Lane Primary just at the end of your garden.
- You have a private driveway with space for two cars, and drivers can be on the North Circular in just over five minutes, or speeding out of London on the M11 in around ten.
- The open green space of Chase Lane Park and the playgrounds of Memorial Park are each just a few minutes' walk anytime you want to get some nature under your feet.

A word from the ownr...

"This is the first property we bought and we’ve loved living here. This has been the perfect base for us, being a short distance from Epping Forest and a wealth of green space but also a short train ride to the City from Highams Park or Walthamstow. The first thing that attracted us to the house was the amount of light inside throughout the day. We’ve also really enjoyed the garden and have had countless garden parties and barbecues with friends and family. We have been fortunate to have met some lovely neighbours on this street and made some lasting memories in this home."
